Annual Meeting Minutes – April 25, 2015

The annual meeting was held at the Club on Saturday, April 25th, 2015. Meeting was opened at 6:30pm,
by Present Leon Tirrell. 15 members were present.
SECRETARY’S REPORT: Ann Kaczenski read the Secretary’s report from March of 2015. Motion to accept
the March minutes was made by Mike Smead and seconded by Stephen Terounzo. Motion Carried.
 Secretary will be responsible to file Annual Report with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Robert Tencati read a history of deposits, withdrawals and payments from the
checking account. A motion to accept was made by Mike Smead and John Thorndike. Motion carried.
MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR REPORT: Jeff Kingsbury reported the Club having sold 33 memberships
packets to date.
TREE COMMITTEE REPORT: Mike Smead reported that all downed and dangerous trees have been
cleaned up and removed from the course.
RAFFLE COMMITTEE REPORT: tabled
3-D TARGET COMMITTEE REPORT: Mike Smead reported that the new target and inserts have been
shipped but would not arrive in time for the first shoot
 The 2015 Tri-State 3-D shoots scheduled at the GRBC for this season are:
o May 24th (Tri-State) and September 20th.
2-D TARGET COMMITTEE REPORT: Dennis Tencati reported that all 2-D targets are in order.
Auditing Committee: Keith Kaczenski reported that he and Ed Demers have reviewed the treasurer’s
books and report a 1 cent error. Treasurer was notified and correction was made during meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Leon commenced with the election of Officers and opened the floor to
nominations. Leon Tirrell was re-elected to President, Mike Smead to Vice- President, Robert Tencati to
Treasurer, Ann Kaczenski to Secretary and Jeff Kingsbury to Membership Coordinator. The first motion
was made by Dennis Tencati and seconded by Don Shebell. Secretary Kaczenski casted one vote for all
unopposed offices. Motion Carried.
ELECTION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Leon opened the floor to nominations for the BOD’S. The
following were re-elected. John Thorndike, Dennis Tencati, Jeanne Tencati, Anita Tencati, Don Shebell,
Stephen Terounzo, Jeff Kingsbury, Keith Kaczenski, Larry Dennett, Ed Demers, and John Gancarz. We also
welcomed newly elected Matt Winn to the Board this year. Thanks Matt for your interest. We look
forward to working with you!
PRACTICE BUTT HILL AND WAKWAY: Stephen Terounzo discussed the need for the practice butt
walkway to be fixed due to the roots and various rocks sticking up. The group discussion followed. No
Motion was made from the floor.
OLD BUSINESS:
KELLY BOX: The group discussed getting a second Kelly box since the current box is jammed packed and
it is difficult to get things in and out of. Leon stated that a new box would cost $2,921.28. Price includes
tax and delivery. The floor was opened for a lengthy discussion. A vote was cast: 10 for, 1 opposed, and 3
abstained. Motion passed.
PORTABLE GAS HEATERS: Two portable kerosene heaters were purchased and used at the last 3-D
shoot to warm the Club House.
SELLING T-SHIRTS, SWEAT SHIRTS and CAPS ON THE WEB SITE: Leon discussed the various aspects
of what the Club would need to do in order to sell merchandise on the web site. The group discussed and
no motion was set worth from the floor.
Friday Night Fun Shoot League: The fun shoot league will start on the first Friday of May. On the Third
Friday of the Month we encourage all to bring something to share and have a pot luck.
 Jeff Kingsbury will change the lock combination to the Club gates the first of April.
 Ann Kaczenski will notify the Fire and Police Departments.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mike Smead and seconded by John Thorndike. Meeting
adjourned at 1:49pm. The next meeting is scheduled for 6:00pm, Friday, May 14th at the Club.
