Provide advocacy on behalf of LGBT students while fostering relationships and working collaboratively with other
University staff who work closely with student organizations and student leaders.
Advise and mentor students in the areas of academic success and career development, including assisting them with
time management/priority setting, balancing academics with activism, coalition building and grassroots organizing,
assertive communication, and leadership/management skills, as well as serve as positive role models in these areas.
Serve as the leadership specialist and work specifically on student leadership initiatives and programming.
 Co-facilitate QELP (Queer Emerging Leadership Program).

 Planned and implemented over 400 student events annually.
Liaison between Campus and Conference Centers and Sodexo for matters concerning the BOG.
Supervised staff of thirteen student workers.
Implemented the BOG advisory committee student group.
 Gathered feedback from students on how to improve attendance and overall atmosphere in BOG.
 Since forming the committee the BOG’s attendance rose dramatically and sales nearly doubled.

planned/run programs in both main campus buildings and the BOG.
