Please remember the class policies on presentations will hold true for this unit:
o To be able to present on each assigned date & earn credit for your speech, you must
email Ms Gorey by the assigned date & time. It is not possible to present or earn
credit if you do not meet the deadline.
o It is not possible to make up your speech if you miss your assigned date. This unit is
designed solely to prepare you for the Senior Oral Presentation. The only way to
practice giving a speech to a panel of judges or group of people is to actually give
speeches in advance to a group. Nothing can reproduce the experience of facing a
group of people other than facing a group of people & presenting. 
o Please understand there will be more summative assessments throughout 2nd
semester. The only way to make up a summative assessment is to make it up with
Ms Gorey before or after school.
