This application form is to be submitted by email to the IRU Secretariat (secretariat@iru.edu.au) for
processing by Monday 2 March 2015.
Please ensure that a copy is also provided to the Grants Office of your own university.

B. Researcher Details
Projects must have one Principal Investigator from an MRUN member and one Principal Investigator
from an IRU member. Projects must have one Co-Investigator who is an Early Career Researcher
(within five years of completion of PhD, allowing for career interruptions) from both an MRUN and
IRU member. There are otherwise no restrictions on the number of project participants.

H. Project Budget
The project budget must be provided in one of Malaysian ringgit or Australian dollars. The maximum
funding amount is 60,000 Malaysian Ringgit/$A20,000 per year. Budgets should be inclusive of sales,
goods and services and other relevant taxes not recoverable by the expending university (eg
Australian GST can be reclaimed).
