Nursery and Reception Children

All children to register and have Collective Worship in their own
classrooms at the beginning of the morning.

All adult staff and volunteers to remain in their ‘own’ classroom!! (eg.
Nursery volunteers to stay in Nursery unit for morning, Rec adults to
stay in Rec classroom; just to minimise confusion).

9.15 am
KW to lead her key group up to Nursery. KW to take KR’s key group down
to Rec.
KR and CS to divide remaining ch into 2 groups; send each group to an
activity in the classroom.

9.30 am
Children from ‘opposite’ classroom arrive. KR and CS to divide these ch
into a further two groups, and send to an activity. There should be four
groups of ch in both classrooms, with four adult-led activities set up.

10.10-10.25: play outside in outdoor classroom areas.
10.25: all children to swap to their opposite classroom. (ie. all ch who have been
in Nursery so far for the morning will walk down to Reception, and vice versa).

11.10: Tidy up and snack time in each classroom.
The children do not need to swap back to their own classrooms just yet.
They can have a hot cross bun and milk (hopefully should be enough for YN and
YR) in the classroom they are in, then swap back in time for YR to go to dinner.
