GENERAL MEETING: Thursday 19 th November 2015

The Chairman opened the meeting and asked for a proposal that the minutes of the previous meeting were a true and accurate record of the proceedings. Mr. Waddilove proposed that they were, Mr. Penfold seconded the proposal and a vote was taken and agreed.
Matters Arising:
“What’s Happening Board” – this is being updated.
Emails were now ready for Newsletter. Miss. Probert said that she had had a problem with her computer but would get a Newsletter prepared.
Matters relating to the Stewardship: The Stewardess came into the meeting and advised the
Committee that the Wine Tasting had gone well although it would have been better if more people had turned up for it. She advised the Committee that Harveys Christmas Puddings were now on sale.

Entertainment: Nothing to report. Mr. Penfold had spoken with the Harveys Rep about a trip around the brewery but they have stopped these. If there was the interest they would look at this in the New Year.
Kids Krew: A film for the children was booked for 19 th December next.
Website: This was being updated regularly. Mrs. Moorey said that she would get this updated with the New Year Eve Tickets available.
Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer reported the figures as at 16 th November 2015 stood at:
Deposit 1: £ 23,555.06
Treasury Acc: £100,000.00
Total: £123,555.06
House: Mr. Penfold said that in order for the electrician to carry out the works that he has to do the
Club will have to shut for a couple of days in January while this work was carried out as there would be no power to the Club.
Health & Safety: Mrs. Goodman said that she had had a meeting with the Treasurer and
Chairwoman and this had been discussed. We were up to date with the majority of the work.
Any Other Business:
Mrs. Moorey said that she will update the Stewardess with the first three months of the New Year.
Miss. Probert said that Mr. Roy Garrod has kindly donated driving lessons to the Christmas Raffle.
Mrs. Goodman said that she would pick up some vouchers.
Mr. Penfold said that the card machine had now been in a month and this was being used. Mr.
Penfold asked Mr. Ward if he would be prepared to cover the door on Christmas Day for the couple of hours that we were open. Mr. Ward agreed to this.
Mrs. Goodman had one party request that was agreed.
There being no further business the Chairwoman thanked everyone for attending and closed the meeting. Next meeting was arranged for Monday 14 th December.
