Award of Scholarships for Academic Excellence
A scholarship scheme is now available to students of IESL College of Engineering.
This was initiated to reward and recognize the high achieving students and to
motivate and encourage the students to perform better.
Eligibility Criteria:
The scholarships are awarded based on merit alone and the Grade Point Average (GPA) will be
used as a measure to select the best performers.
The first, second and third places are selected based on the Grade Point Average (GPA) obtained
after completion of Certificate Level and Advanced Diploma Level. To become eligible for the
First place the candidate should have a GPA of 3.7 or above and for the Second and Third
places a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Certificate Level Stage I:
The student who receives the first place will be awarded a full
scholarship (full waiver of the course fee) to the Certificate Level Stage II. Partial scholarships
will be awarded for the second and thirds places (50 % and 25 % reduction of the course fee of
the Certificate Level Stage II respectively).
Certificate Level Stage II:
The student who receives the first place will be awarded a full
scholarship (full waiver of the course fee) to the Advanced Diploma Level Stage I. Partial
scholarships will be awarded for the second and thirds places (50 % and 25 % reduction of the
course fee of the Advanced Diploma Level Stage I respectively).
Advanced Diploma Stage I: The student who receives the first place will be awarded a full
scholarship (full waiver of the course fee) to the Advanced Diploma Level Stage II. Partial
scholarships will be awarded for the second and thirds places (50 % and 25 % reduction of the
course fee of the Advanced Diploma Level Stage II respectively).
Advanced Diploma Stage II: The student who receives the first place will be awarded a full
scholarship (full waiver of the course fee) to the Graduate Diploma. Partial scholarships will be
awarded for the second and thirds places (50 % and 25 % reduction of the course fee of the
Graduate Diploma respectively).
