Chris Swartley, Wind Vision Ambassador Chris is presently a founding partner of Progression Energy, a renewable energy company with projects throughout the US. Prior to founding Progression Energy, Chris was Vice President of Project Development for Apex Clean Energy, a national developer and operator of wind and solar projects. While at Apex, Chris oversaw the Hawaii offshore project, initiated and grew the Northeast Market, led the acquisition of Apex’s first solar project, and evaluated international opportunities. Prior to joining Apex, Chris founded and managed Four Element Energy, a renewables development and consulting company that developed onshore/offshore wind and solar projects throughout the United States. Before founding Four Element Energy, Chris was Vice President of Development at First Wind, a national developer, owner and operator of wind generation projects and the largest wind producer in Hawaii. At First Wind, Chris oversaw over 900 MW of wind energy projects. Chris has degrees from Harvard University and the University of Rochester, and also studied at Georgetown University’s School for Foreign Service.
