Teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in ocean and coastal engineering,
water resources engineering, hydro-mechanical engineering and fluid mechanics.
Responsible for the academic program in hydraulics and water resources
engineering.
Research activities cover hydrodynamic modeling in coastal environment and
computer and laboratory modeling of ocean wave-structure interactions.
Consulting experience includes serving as consultant for a number of local and
national engineering firms on computer modeling of coastal regions, oil spill
analysis, wave structure interaction and wave energy extraction.
