Researcher-Led Initiative (RLI) fund:
call for applications announced
Doctoral School funding for researcher-organised
events, e.g. conferences, interdisciplinary groups,
exhibitions. Issued first call for applications.
Deadline (for this round): 30th April.
The Doctoral School Directors (Dr. Jon Mitchell and
Prof. Vicky Lebeau) will select winning applications,
to be announced at the Doctoral School BBQ on the
25th May (see below).

Call for Papers from Excursions Journal:
submit your work to the Sussex journal.
Excursions is the interdisciplinary open-access
journal initiated and managed by Sussex
researchers. Submitted items can take almost any
form, and be from any discipline, as issues are
based around themes. This CFP is for
‘Science/Fiction’.

The Doctoral School’s Researcher Mentoring
Programme provides opportunities for research
staff to mentor doctoral researchers, and for
doctoral researchers to benefit from independent
support and advice from early career researchers.
