Removal of dense vegetation and vines.
9 a.m.-noon or flexible times for groups. Additional hours available.
5-physically demanding
No skills required.
Areas have both shade and full sun.
Restroom facilities located at Hollywood North Beach Park.
Area has several parcels for vegetation removal. Individuals, small
groups and large groups are welcome.
Volunteers can work on the site once a week.
Gloves, bags, and garden equipment will be provided as needed.

Dress for outdoor work and bring sunscreen, hat, insect repellent,
closed-toe shoes, gloves, water and/or snack, cell phone.
We will provide them with any personal protective equipment as
needed and instruct in proper use.

Workday Volunteer Application needed prior to start of Eco-Action
project.
Volunteers must attend an initial training, which will take place on
the first workday.
Personal protective equipment will be worn when spraying or
fertilizing.
Help improve natural coastal areas along Surf Road in Hollywood by
removing dense vegetation and vines.
