The Children’s Study Home to Host Yard Sale Fundraiser to
Support Community Programming

Springfield—On Saturday, August 17, The Children’s Study Home (CSH) will host a yard sale fundraiser at
44 Sherman Street in Springfield, Mass. between 10am-3pm. All proceeds will benefit community
programs including Foster Care and Camp Casa, a FREE 5-week children’s summer camp. CSH invites the
community to stop by with friends to bargain hunt while supporting the community. CSH is also looking
for donations of gently used household items, toys, and furniture for the organization to sell. At 3pm the
yard sale will be closed off to the public and families from CSH’s programs will be invited to take home
any unsold items. The first 30 customers to make a purchase at the yard sale will receive a FREE CSH
reusable grocery tote.
During the yard sale, CSH invites shoppers to bring their children to play on our playground and
participate in free kids’ activities. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Founded in 1865, The Children’s Study Home is the oldest human service organization in Western Mass.
CSH serves at-risk children and youth through high quality educational, residential, and family services.
