Volcano Project
Objective: Your task is to recreate both the shape and make of a volcano and recreate the type of
eruption that would come from that volcano. You, also, need to calculate the velocity that the “lava” has
as it flows down the volcano.
Description: To make the volcano shape you can use playdoh, clay, or paper Mache. To make the funnel
of the volcano you can use PVC Pipe, a graduated cylinder, a flask, or bottles. To make the explosion,
you can use vinegar and baking soda, diet coke and mentos, Alka-Seltzer with pop, or anything else you
can come up with.) Ask me FIRST!!!!
