The Milwaukee Veterinary Medical Association invites all DVM’s and CVT’s to a continuing education
seminar:
“Lepto, Lyme, and Heartworms – Is Anything New?”
Presented by
George E. Moore, DVM, MS, PhD
After graduating from the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Moore spent more
than 22 years in the US Army with various assignments including Director of the Dept. of Defense Military
Working Dog Veterinary Services, at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. Dr. Moore completed a residency in small
animal internal medicine and a Masters in Physiology at the University of Georgia, and he has a Ph.D. degree in
Clinical Epidemiology from Purdue University. Dr. Moore is currently an Associate Professor at Purdue
University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in West Lafayette, Indiana and serves as the Director for Clinical
Trials at Purdue’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. His research interests include companion animal diseases and
evidence-based medicine, and he currently serves on editorial review boards of the Journal of Veterinary
Internal Medicine and the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association.
