A total of 3449 head of cattle were penned at Roma’s Store Sale. Weaners under
220kg topped at 200c/kg and averaged 176c/kg, while weaner steers in the 220280kg range reached 224c/kg and averaged 180c/kg. Steers in the 280-350kg range
reached 224c/kg and averaged 190c/kg, and steers in the 350-400kg range reached
214c/kg and averaged 191c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-550kg range topping at
209c/kg and averaging 199c/kg.
Peel Northampton Downs, Northampton Downs, Blackall, sold Charolais-cross
steers to 224c/kg for 294kg to return $660/head.
A & L Raff, Lawton, Surat, sold Angus-cross steers to 207c for 516kg to return
$1070.
K & S Ferguson, Lindilla, Roma, sold Charolais-cross steers to 206c for 420kg to
