The Dragon Ranger
Chapter 1

In the year of 2015 in Kentucky it was a nice sunny day, a 13 year old boy named
Cody Jones snuck out of the mansion and adventured into the wilderness with his best
friend Ash Reed that lived next door. Cody and his friend loved adventures plus getting into
sticky situations, arrived to a huge cave and looked inside realizing it was warm.
There were walls that were covered with pictured drawings of a king and a very huge
dragon that was dark as night. Before long they got to the middle of the story, the other
piece of the wall were covered with a giant blue silk curtain.
“Wow! This silk is so soft, I know let’s take a look at the paintings. This is so
awesome,” said anxious Ash, “Hey Link look there is a treasure chest under that bed rock
lets go open it!” then a gust of wind blew in with a dragon behind. Just before they left Link
sang a song while Ash got near the treasure chest under that bedrock and grabbed a flute
shaped just like a dragon then left. Link and Ash got to the green house and Ash’s sister
Sapphire came in the barn were they keep a lot of animals like two dogs named Bruno and
White Fang plus a whole horse herd (that the kids loved the most). Later Link’s mother came
out (his mother was a champion horse rider and she rides Nike) to the house in her blue
horse riding clothes,
“Ash can you take Nike to her stall and brush her down please?” she asked. “Then
after that you can come to the patio at our house and have a snack with your sister and
Link” he nodded his head and untied Nike’s reigns and headed to the barn,
“Hey mom do you know anything about a story and a king?” he said then his
mother looked at her folded up hands and looked up to him and nodded her head,
“Yes I do Link but I had to keep it a secret from you till the day your father got
turned into a dragon and flew into the night while the wizard destroyed our beloved home, I
escaped with you and the picture of your true father” said Rosetta. “Three years later you
were four years old and I married a rich sorcerer but I promised him that if you were told of
your real father he would turn you into a Pegasus and he would whip you and keep you as a
pet” said his mom.
“So that is why you never told me” said Link. Then link ran up to his mom and hugged
her then before he gone to get himself a snack he said, “I love you so much mom, and thank
you” said Link. Out in the patio Link and Sapphire was eating brownies and drinking milk
talking. Ash ran to the deck and grabbed a chocolate coved strawberry and some milk.
Chapter 2: The D.P club
“So Link did you get any information about the story about the dragon and the
king?” asked Ash,
“Yes I did my mischievous friend. Mom is it ok I tell them what you told me?” asked
Link, and then she looked at them a little then nodded her head and Link began the story,
“When I was a baby a bad wizard came to our house and into the nursery where I
was sleeping, my mom and dad heard me crying so they hurried to my room and mom took
me into her arms while dad grabbed a sword. My dad fought against the wizard but a
regular sword wasn’t enough to defeat a magic whip so the wizard tricked him, turned my
dad into a dragon.” said Link.
“Wow I didn’t really know that Link” said Ash. “So that should be our priority to
find out how to find to change your dad back”, said Ash. Then they nodded their heads and
put their hands in the middle including Sapphire and they called themselves the dragon
protectors. The next day Link met Ash and Sapphire at school to talk about what they are
going to do,
“Ok here is what we are going to do after school we are first going to run home,
before my mom gets there and get some horses, I will ride Sharia, Sapphire will ride Nike and
finally Ash you will ride my new horse Comet. Ok us all in favor and no questions?” asked
Link.
“I have one do we have to worry about the rich wizard your mom told us about?”
asked Sapphire,
"No we do not Sapphire" said Link. So after school they went to their houses and
got ready, then went to the barn and got the horses and they were off. In the middle of the
meadow the kids met an old lady that looked so weird also she said that Sapphire has the
power to read minds and Ash has the power to change into animals and Link has the power
make his body do other elements like water and fire, etc. After that the horses acted as
they were scared of something so the kids got off of their rides, checked and turns out there
was a trap inside the dragons cave and Sapphire, Ash and Link got stuck in it.
"Is everybody ok" called Link
"Yeah were ok" called Sapphire, there was a rustling sound came from the bushes, two
men and a woman, on the top of their robes was a capital "R".
"Prepare for trouble”, said the woman.
"And make it double ", said the man.
"To protect our world from devastation”, said the woman.
"To reunite all people within our nation”, said the man.
“To reach to the stars above’’ said the man.
"Jessie”, said the woman.
"James" said the man and a tiger roared after that.
"We are Team Rocket and were in your face" they said together and a man with big staff
walked towards Sapphire, "My name is Seth and these are my helpers for now anyway" he
said, "Ok now handcuff them to those three trees you two ." Now Link had a plan he was
going to distract Team Rocket while Ash transforms into a little mouse so he could get his
unlocked then walk around were his sister is then unlock Links and blow this popsicle stand
(get away from them and get the horses). Ash got to his sisters hand cuffs and got her
unlocked but when he was almost got to link Jessie spotted him,
“Hey look a mouse” said Jessie, and then James started to chase Ash. When James
started to get tired Ash changed into an eagle with sharp talons then it turned into a big riot
but thank fully he made them chase themselves Ash unlocked Link handcuffs and just left
without them knowing.
Chapter 3: The dragon
The next day they went to the dragons cave again with two ropes and a plan. The boys
would lead the two men and Sapphire would get the lady to chase her saying “hey old lady
chase me if can!” said
