SEEING IS HEARING An Art Exhibition showcasing works by Deaf and hard of hearing artists Celebrating National Week of Deaf People Monday 5th to Tuesday 20th October, 2015 We are inviting Deaf and hard of hearing artists to submit an expression of interest to show their artworks in one of the galleries at the Kingston Art Centre from Monday 5th October to Tuesday 20th October. The exhibition is called ‘Seeing is Hearing’ and is being held as part of National Week of Deaf People. Artworks can be any medium including: photography, painting, drawing, textile or sculptures. The hanging system in the gallery is a track hanging system – works are hung from hooks on wires. The thicker the frame the better. It is recommended that two d-rings are attached to the back of each work (see image below).
