Hertfordshire PGL Festival Charity Shoot

RWBro Paul Gower invites you to the inaugural 2019 Festival clay pigeon shoot at the prestigious shooting
grounds of Atkin, Grant & Lang at Broomhill Leys, Windmill Road, Markyate, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL3 8LP
On Tuesday 16th. September in support of the RMTGB.
All levels welcome : Novice to marksman. Venue fully insured .
10.00 am : Registration & Distribution of hats, ear and eye protection. Bacon rolls & refreshments:
A welcome to the ground and brief of the day’s events to be given by your host during breakfast
10.45 am : Each group to head out to their starting stand with the aim to start shooting at 11.00am.
The day will be shot over ten stands with scorers on each stand.
Stand 1 – 5 Pairs Driven
Stand 2 – 5 Pairs Snipe
Stand 3 – 5 Pairs Rabbit and Teal
Stand 4 – 5 Pairs of Crossers
Stand 5 – 5 Pairs G/Away
Stand 6 – 5 Pairs Incomer
Stand 7 – 5 Pairs Loopers
Stand 8 – 5 Pairs Driven
Stand 9 – 5 Pairs Rabbit
Stand 10 – 5 Pairs G/Away
A refreshment station will greet you half way round the course with a selection of beverages.
After all entrants have finished, a prize/certificate presentation will commence for the high guns of the day.
A PGM’s Raffle will take place (prize donations most welcome) all in support of the RMTGB
Masons & non Masons most welcome. Open competition to all. A fun shoot day for all.
Cost per person: £45.00 (plus cartridges approximately £4.50 per 25 = £18 on the day)
This includes the cost of clays, the scorers, a bacon roll (or vegetarian option) & refreshments.
