The George Rogers Clark District requests the honor of your presence at the 2016 District
Recognition dinner. We will be celebrating the success our district volunteers and scouts
obtained in 2015. Here we will honor scouts who earned their Arrow of Light, achieved the
rank of Eagle, or obtained their Silver Award in 2015 alongside volunteers that have been
awarded district awards. This event is open to all scouts and scouters within the Lincoln
Heritage Council and the George Rogers Clark District. Be sure to send in your nominations
for Scout and Scouter of the year for each of your units before the end of the year.
ADVANCE TICKET ORDERS DUE BY January 7, 2016 at the Banquest Committee Meeting (January
Roundtable). Please submit all award applications (President, Buckskin, District Award, Scout/Scouter of the
year, Arrow of Light, Eagle by December 31 to Denny James. Silver Beaver must be submitted to the LHC
office by December 1.)
Advance ticket orders with payment may be submitted to the District Banquet Committee Meeting on January 7 or by
mail postmarked before January 5 to Denny James, 102 Glenmill Road, New Albany, IN, 47150; or to Katie Glesing,
12001 Sycamore Station Place Louisville KY 40299, attn: GRC District Dinner. Please make checks payable to the Lincoln
Heritage Council.
Event Times:
Doors open and Registration begin at 6 pm with dinner to follow promptly at 7 pm.
