CONTESTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Contestants must be a resident or student of the greater San Antonio area.
2. Contestants must be a young lady between the ages of 18 and 25 years or must have
reached her 18th birthday by the end of March of the year entering the pageant or have
received prior approval from the San Antonio Queen of Soul, Inc. Executive Board.
3. Contestants must be single, never been married, not pregnant, or ever been pregnant at the
time of entry or during their reign.
4. Contestant must be in good physical health, and of good moral character.
5. Contestant must be prepared to give a talent presentation upon request by the pageant or
contestant coordinator.
6. Contestant must have never been arrested, abused drugs or alcohol.
7. Contestant must furnish a photograph of yourself, when required by San Antonio Queen of
Soul, Inc.
8. Contestant must submit a sponsorship fee of $125.00 upon request by San Antonio Queen of
Soul, Inc.
9. All applications must be received by January 23, 2015.
CONTESTANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:
February 2015 – Queen of Soul Contestant Rehearsal
March 11, 2015 - Queen of Soul Pageant Reception
March 21, 2015 – Queen of Soul Pageant
