Dear Bridge City High School Alumnus:
It is time to plan your trip to “come home.” The BCHS Homecoming is Friday, September 19th. The classes of
1964, 1974, 1984, 1994, 2004, and all 50+ year graduates will be honored along with all former members of
cheer groups. This group includes cheerleaders, mascots, Cardinal Guards, pep squads, and their support
groups. A reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th in the Bridge City Middle School Gym (the gym
closest to the north ticket gate.) A photographer will be available for group pictures. Additionally, cheerleaders
wishing to participate will be allowed on the football field for pre-game activities to help lead fans in BIG RED.
The Bridge City High School Alumni Association will host a special reunion for all CLASSIC CARDINALS—
those who graduated 50+ years ago. The classes of 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, and 1964 are
included in this group. Of course, any other alumni and guests are welcome to attend. The Classic Cardinal
Reunion is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20th at the Bridge City High School Cafeteria.
Pinehurst Bar-b-que will cater the meal which will cost $15 per person. We hope you will take this opportunity
to enjoy the fellowship of former classmates. A photographer will be available for anyone wanting pictures
taken and door prizes will be given away. We acknowledge Dr. Jimmy Jones and Raylene Terrel for their
continued support in this project.
We always appreciate donations to our BCHS Alumni Association. Dues are free so we rely on the generosity
of others to continue working directly with Bridge City High School to maintain its traditions and celebrate its
history. You have shaped those traditions and history. You have made those memories
