MEDIA ALERT: Monday, April 27, 2015 Join us at the Art Museum of South Texas on June 13th for artRageous: Myths and Legends. This summer celebration will feature music, modernism and philanthropy at the Art Museum. Set amid the exhibition WARHOL: Myths and Legends from the Cochran Collection, artRageous: Myths and Legends will put the spotlight on monumental talent from the past and present. Guests will be treated to a transcendent concert by Corpus Christi native and Los Angeles based solo recording artist, Julie Mintz; The Voice contestant and local favorite, Clarissa Serna; and Steven James and the Jaded. In addition, guests will have a further opportunity to artRageous: Myths and Legends support the Art Museum of South Texas with an art drawing featuring Committee Chairs Omar Lopez (left) and original artwork by creative superstars! Guests are encouraged to Stephen McMains come dressed inspired by their favorite myth or legend. Planned by Committee Chairs Omar Lopez and Stephen McMains, the net proceeds of the artRageous: Myths and Legends will be used to support the Art Museum of South Texas’s exhibition and education programs as well as outreach into the community. Tickets are $75 and VIP/Host Committee tickets are available for $150. Tickets go on sale May 1, 2015.
