It was fantastic to see so many Kilmorie children had taken part. Well done to all those that completed the challenge. Congratulations to our athletics team who took part in the Sydenham and Forest Hill annual sports hall athletics event. Pupils from Years 5 and 6 competed in two field events and two track events each. In assembly today we celebrated Harvest. Letters went out on Friday about our annual Harvest collection of items that we are donating to the Jericho Project. Your gifts of food, toiletries, men’s clean clothing, sleeping bags, towels and blankets would be very gratefully received. Please check that food has a long shelf life. There is a Harvest Box opposite the office for you to leave your contributions from today until Monday 12th October 2015. Finally I was delighted to receive a letter yesterday from the Executive Director of Children and Young People congratulating Kilmorie on academic results as they were amongst the highest in the borough. I am very proud of all those children that contributed to this success and of course, all the teachers. This meeting is to provide you with information about the new curriculum and topics planned for the year.
