St. Edward School Philosophy: The philosophy of St. Edward School is to provide a warm, caring Catholic
environment that promotes faith in God and teaches students to become respectful and responsible citizens.
St. Edward School promotes the formation of a team of support between teachers and parents to develop
students to their individual potential. St. Edward School strives for academic excellence in the ever changing
world. St. Edward School philosophy upholds the:

Admission to St. Edward School is open to all students. There shall be no discrimination based upon sex, race,
or national origin. Equal educational opportunities for all.
Tuition: Tuition is assessed at the beginning of the school year according to the following grade levels. Tuition
is due according to the payment plan chosen. All tuition is due in full by May 31, 2016. Registration and book
fees are included in tuition. Open enrollment to the Hortonville School District is available for all 4K students.
Third Source Fundraising Goal: SCRIP Family fee-- $100/student or $250/family for full time students and
$50/student for part time students (PreK-3 and 4K) as well as participation in Fish Fry and Harvest Moon
Festival Community Fundraisers.
Parish Membership: Families are billed at the in-parish tuition rate when registered members of St. Edward
Parish and participating as faithful stewards of the parish. This includes worship, service, and financial support
of the parish. Out-of-parish tuition charge is $200/student.
Multi-child Discount: A 5% discount is applied on the tuition of full-time students. **$1,748

Tuition Assistance: No student will be refused enrollment based on lack of funds. Alternative payment plans
and tuition assistance is available. All assistance remains confidential. Contact Ms. Morrin.
Company Matching Programs: Please check with your employer to find out whether they participate in
matching gift programs. Many local companies will match gifts employees make to charitable organizations
such as St. Edward Parish/School. These donations increase 3 rd source funding and support the budget.
Several parishioners participate in Matching Funds programs who don’t even have kids in the school.
Tuition payment plans:
Each family must choose a payment plan. Payments may be made according to the following plans:
1. Payment in full (September)
2. Semesters (September and February)
3. Quarters (September, November, February, May)
4. Monthly (9 payments, September through May)
All other arrangements need to be discussed with Ms. Morrin at the time of registration.
Transportation: Unless otherwise told, students riding the bus will be picked up and dropped off at their
home address. Bus service is provided by Hortonville and Freedom School Districts. Reimbursement for
bussing is available for some students in other districts within St. Edward School boundaries. See Ms. Morrin
for this information.
Open Enrollment: All students attending 4K at St. Edward will Open Enroll to the Hortonville School District
and 4K will be FREE tuition. Tuition will be charged for Extended Day 4K, Friday 4K and After School Care.
