Václav Project Havel Dialogue Steering Group Meeting 5th: Meeting to review the Consortium’s academic policy, convened under Professor Wim van den Doel (Leiden) Trustees Meeting 5th: Meeting of international Europaeum Board of Trustees, chaired by Dr Pierre Keller, to review current and future Europaeum policies, in London. Jenkins Scholars 5th: Celebration to mark 10th Anniversary of Jenkins Scholars Awards, to be held in concert with donors, past scholars, supporters and members of Jenkins Memorial Board, with Lord Patten, Lord Adonis and Lord Liddle, at the Reform Club, London. Graduate Workshop 5th-8th: For select graduate students, Climate Change, Waters & Cities: what future for Europe? The workshop will start in Amsterdam and at Leiden during the annual World Water Week Forum. June 2014 Graduate Debate 28th: Václav Havel Dialogue Project inaugural conference to initiate student consultations across Europe, to be held in Prague, with Europaeum support. Part of an international conference, with prominent international speakers, hosted by Institute for Political Studies, Catholic University, Lisbon, on Democracy 25 Years After the Fall of the Wall. February 2014 July 2014 Europaeum Lecture Summer School Lecture by Jussi Hanhimäki (Geneva) Professor of International History and Politics, on The Legacy of Henry Kissinger at St. Antony’s College, Oxford University (details tbc). March 2014 November 2013 13th-15th: 20th: Closing date for applications for up to six Jenkins Scholarships awarded annually, in honour of Roy Jenkins, linked to Europaeum universities. Liaison Group Meeting Europaeum Lecture Annual Summer School on Gender in Europe: What remains to be done ? with 30 selected Europaeum graduates from member universities and contributions from keynote experts from academe, the judiciary, ECHR, NGOs and politics, to be held at UCM Madrid. September 2014 April 2014 Europaeum Joint Teaching European Policy Seminar Graduate workshop to be held in the European Parliament in Brussels, on European Policy-Making, involving EU officials, experts, policy-makers, run by IEP-Lisbon and Europaeum Launch of the 10th academic year of the jointly offered MA in European History and Civilisation, linking the Universities of Leiden, Paris 1 and Oxford. Europaeum MA Programme May 2014 26th: Third year lanch of new Vaclav Havel European MA Programme, European Politics and Scoiety, linking Prague, Paris and Leiden, with students moving to second partner institutions.
