Strategy program to support Australia’s Associate Membership of EMBL
$8.0 million under the Super Science Initiative to 2012-13 to set up the partner laboratory network, the bioinformatics resource, PhD student programs and access for Australian researchers to EMBL infrastructure
Funding partners include the host institutions and CSIRO.
Funding under the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) has enabled Australia to become the first Associate Member of EMBL.
Additional funding from the Super Science Initiative has allowed the commencement of an
EMBL Australia Partner Laboratory Network, the development of a bioinformatics resource facility, the development of PhD student programs and access for Australian researchers to
EMBL’s infrastructure in Europe.
