Dear ASB Members and Family,
I am so excited to invite you to the ASB Leadership Camp summer 2013. We are looking forward to a
wonderful experience where the students have an opportunity to bond, gain information and plan for the
upcoming school year. We will be covering a variety of topics and look forward to everything from creative
publicity tactics to problem solving and time-management. ASB Leadership Camp is strongly recommended
and will be $300 per student. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, comments or concerns.

Payments may be made directly to the tuition office. Camp must be paid for by Monday, June 10 th unless other
arrangements have been made prior.
Thursday, June 27th
Depart Alemany (Time pending * between 9:30 and 12:30)
Activities Thursday, June 27th will include:

Trip to Carpentaria Beach
Lunch in Carpentaria (Bring $)
Ice-Breakers and first brainstorming session at beach
Hotel Check-In/ Pool Time
Pizza Dinner at Hotel (Included)
Night Session

Goal Setting for Events
Luau
Activities Friday, June 28th will include:
 Conference Room Meeting and breakfast at hotel. (Breakfast buffet covered in cost of camp.) Topics will include:

Rallies
Homecoming Theme
Recommendations for Discipline Board
Orientation Week
Goal Setting for year
Lunch (covered in cost of camp)
Kayaking! (covered in cost of camp)
Meetings and Break-out sessions at beach
Dinner at the Warf (Bring $)
One on One Meeting with Miss Castan
Activities Saturday, June 29th , will include:




Breakfast and Check-Out at Hotel (Bring $)
Wrap-up Meeting before departure
Bus to State Street for free time shopping and eating
Return to Alemany High School at 6:00pm
Things to Bring:
o Suntan lotion
o Comfortable walking shoes (We will be doing a lot of walking!)
o Sweatshirt and warm clothes for beach at night. Miss Castan will make sure everyone has one!
o Spending Money
o Snacks for room and between meals
o Pens and paper for meetings
o Bathing suit
o Ladies, you will not be permitted to show your stomach. You may either bring a one piece or wear a tank
top/t-shirt over a two piece.
o Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brush
o Backpack for day trips
o Good attitude!
