DATE: The conference will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 and concludes at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2014. Registration will be conducted on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. REGISTRATION FEE: Eighty-five dollars ($85.00) covers the cost of the conference incidentals. Please mail the registration to the PNOA, P.O. This training is an in-depth depiction of a Police Officers human survival skill during an armed encounter with a suspect. Captain, Indiana State Police (Retired) This course teaches officers to conduct debriefing of new arrestees and other individuals for the purpose of acquiring intelligence information and cultivating informants. VEHICLE INTERDICTION Instruction by 4:20 This course provides officers with the skills to conduct successful interdiction. It will equip officers with the ability to make rapid assessment on whether criminal activity is taking place. Course will cover hidden compartments, vehicle’s natural voids and interview techniques on roadside encounters. 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM Lunch Breakout Sessions TECHNOLOGIES AGAINST POLICE Jim Dill, PAOAG- Deputy Chief, Bureau of Investigative Services (Retired) This is a unique and eye opening class for officers who want to learn more on how technology is being used to avoid or detect their investigations. This course will give an overview of the NPLEX Program. Course will cover how the program came about and how police departments can run reports and obtain information. Officers will be able to register their Departments at the conference to use the NPLEX Program. DRUG FIELD TESTING CERTIFICATION Jack Thorndike, Sirchie Officers will be certified in drug field testing.
