I. Call to Order: 3:37pm
II. Roll Call: Members in Attendance: T. Bowdoin, N. Solares, L. Ramirez, J. Martel
III. Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve minutes as presented by N. Solares. Seconded
by T. Bowdoin.
IV. Open Communications:
- Student speakers seniors Rea Tom and Erika Alas are asking for student announcements
to be twice a week. They are suggesting of student announcements to be on Tuesday(s)
during 1st period and on Thursday(s) during 2nd period. This will be put on the agenda for
discussion.
- Incentives for perfect attendance or improved attendance: It is suggested by the students
to be given gift cards such as In-N-Out, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, the Habit, AMC movie tickets
and iTunes gift cards. They would also like incentives such as a pair of prom tickets, BCCHS
year book, one “year book page” or one pair of grad night tickets.
V. Action Items:
- Frances has confirmed with L. Ramirez that students do have the same access onto the
Aeries Portal as their parents. Students need to fill out the same form. This form can be
passed out and filled out during Advisory. Attached by T. Bowdoin, seconded by N. Solares.
Motion carried.
