A Journey of Personal and Corporate Transformation
The Ridder Church Renewal process helps leaders develop the
tools needed to lead their congregations through the changes
needed to move towards God’s preferred future.
Participants make a 30-month commitment to personal faith
renewal. Along the way they commit to courageous and authentic
communication and to understanding the pressures that systems
bring on individual behavior. They learn to develop non-anxious
leadership styles, deal with conflict, and create effective teams.
We believe that congregations can make healthy changes toward
God’s preferred future by starting with high expectations,
committing to learning over time, and building on the core values
of integrity, authenticity, courage and love.

Commit … to a 30 month journey consisting of 5 retreats for
pastors; pastors are joined on 3 of these retreats by 4-6 other
congregational leaders; coaching between the retreats.
Commit… to practice new skills learned between the retreats together as leaders.
Commit …to pay $1500.00 per year plus transportation cost for the three years of the process.
Needed… 15 churches to sign up for an Ontario Ridder Church Renewal journey to begin.
The end goal: faithful and fruitful missional living demonstrated personally and
corporately.
Ridder Church Renewal is a partnership between the Reformed Church in America(Canadian Synod)
and Christian Reformed Home Missions (Eastern Canada)together with Western Theological Seminary.

Event #1 Faithwalking Pastors ONLY: 2013- March 4-7
 March 4: Travel day,
 March 5-6th all day sessions and March 7th half day session,
 March 7: travel home mid-afternoon/evening.

Event #2 Pastors & Church Leaders : 2013- September 19-21st.
 Pastors September 19th all day and September 20th until mid-afternoon.
