Swimmers of the Week 6 & Under Elana Topelson Tommy Kane Elana is a really hard worker and always shows up to practice with a big smile on her face! She had a great meet this weekend and even swam the 25 breaststroke, an event she did not want to swim, but did just to be a good sport! All of her coaches have seen so much improvement from the beginning of the season and we are very impressed with Elana's growth as a swimmer. Congratulations Elana keep up the good work! Tommy Kane is a really hard worker and loves the sport of swimming. Although he is only six, he swam 3 individual events plus relays! And after one quick breaststroke lesson, he was able to help out the team and swim the breaststroke in the medley relay. He is a pleasure to have in practice and always has a great attitude. He's improved a lot in the past two weeks and all of his coaches are SUPER proud of him. Great job Tommy! – Coach Georgia – Coach Georgia Swimmers of the Week 7&8 Dylan Silva We are lucky as a coaching staff to coach kids like Dylan. He is a talented swimmer, a hard worker, and a bundle of joy to be around. He is an all-round athlete participating in a number of different sport, but still he comes to swim practice each day to work hard. Now that the morning practices have started he has begun to swim up an age group with the 9-10 age group. This is merely a testament to his talent and his devotion to the team. He swims in every meet and every time he comes, he comes to win. Dylan is an incredible swimmer and we are lucky to have him on the team. –Coach Cole Kate Kieran Kate is another example of a dedicate simmer who works hard and her hard work shows in her swimming. Kate comes to swim practice, rain or shine, cold or hot, and is one of the first swimmers in the pool daily. She will swim any set we give her without complaining or refusal and she approaches the set with a tenacity; she tries very hard to swim fast on every set. This approach translates to her meets too. She performs at a high level in meets and has fun doing it. She is great to have in the pool and I look forward to coaching her for years to come –Coach Cole Swimmers of the Week 9 & 10 Olivia Cutter Olivia has worked hard in practice every day she has come. It is clear that Olivia want to win and she know that practicing hard is the way to get on top. Olivia enjoys leading her lane even in the hard sets. Olivia also did great in her individual event. She helped earn necessary points that led to our meet success. Keep it up Oli! – Coach Eric Zach Holder Zach is the breast stroke king.
