six monthly compliance report (with soft copy in CD) for “Nirvana Country”- Residential Plotted Colony with Amenities at

South City II, Phase II, Gurgaon, as per the guidelines issued in Environmental Clearance letter issued for the project.

Development & Construction of the project has been completed. The plots have been handed over and we have also obtained the “Consent to Operate” certificate from HSPCB for the commercial complex “Business Zone” as well as for “Nirvana Courtyard”.

I CONSTRUCTION PHASE i. Necessary approval of the State Forest

Department shall be obtained before commencing construction of the project. ii. All required sanitary and hygienic measures should be in place before starting construction activities and to be maintained throughout the construction phase. iii. A First Aid Room will be provided in the project both during construction and operation phase. iv. Adequate drinking water and sanitary facilities should be provided for construction workers at the site. N/A. As the said project comes under the developed sector of Gurgaon and the development in the area is as per the approved Master Plan of the Gurgaon City.

Complied. All required sanitary and hygienic measures were as per our submitted “Standard Operation Plan

(SOP)-Environment & Health”. Presently the project is in its operation phase. Already we have obtained the consent to operate certificate for the commercial part “Nirvana courtyard” and “Business zone” from

Haryana State Pollution Control Board.

During the whole construction phase adequate drinking water supply to the workers at construction site was ensured.

Proper drainage system for safe disposal of waste water was developed. Toilet with septic tank facilities were provided for construction labours.

Presently project is under operational stage and no labours are engaged at project site.

Disposal of muck, including excavation material during construction phase should not create any adverse effects on neighboring communities and should be disposed off necessary precautions for general safety and health aspects.

Complied. vii. The Diesel generator sets to be used during construction phase should be of “Enclosed

Type” and should conform to E(P)A Rules prescribed for air and noise emission standards. viii. Ambient noise levels should conform to residential standards both during day and night.

Incremental pollution loads on the ambient air and noise quality should be closely monitored during construction phase. ix. Construction spoils including bituminous material and other hazardous material must not be allowed to contaminate watercourses and the dump sites for such material must be secured so that they should not leach into the ground water.

II OPERATIONAL PHASE

All the D.G. sets provided for the construction activities had been provided with necessary Acoustic Enclosures to reduce the noise from D.G. sets and stack heights were as per C.P.C.B norms. The

DG sets conform to the rules made under

Environment (Protection) Act for Air and

Noise emission.

Available best construction practices were followed for the construction work. The construction machineries/equipments used were of high standard of reputed make. So incremental noise level due to the construction activity in the site was of negligible amount. Please refer to the latest environmental monitoring report enclosed as Annexure-I for your ready reference.

Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) should be certified by an independent expert and efficacy

The proposed project comprises of plotted development & two commercial Complexes namely: Business Zone” & “Nirvana

Courtyard”. Two STPs of capacity 150 and a report in this regard should be submitted to the Ministry before the project is commissioned for operation.

Courtyard has been installed for the treatment of generated waste water.

v. ii. The solid waste generated should be properly collected & segregate before disposal to the city

Municipal Facility. iii. Any Hazardous waste including biomedical waste should be disposed of as per applicable rules & norms with necessary approvals of the Haryana

State Pollution Control Board. iv. Diesel generator sets proposed as back up power for lifts and common area illumination should be of enclosed type and conform to E (P) A Rules prescribed for air and noise emission standards as per CPCB guidelines. Exhausts should be raised to 4 meters above the rooftop.

The green belt design along the periphery of the plot shall achieve attenuation factor conforming to the day and night noise standards prescribed at “Nirvana Courtyard” has submitted via previous 11 th six monthly compliance report via letter no. Ref:Nirvana/MoEF-

STPs of the project is in its running condition and all the parameters of outlet waste water sample (treated water) are well within the prescribe limit as suggested by

CPCB. Report enclosed under Annexure-I for your ready reference.

Solid Waste Management facility has been designed as per MSW Rule, 2000. The segregation of solid waste primarily at source. Adequate number of Green and

Blue coloured bins separate for biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste have been provided at all strategic locations and will be brought to a centralized collection facility.

Presently we have made arrangement for disposal of solid waste through M/s Clean up The Waste , Gurgaon.

Please find a copy for the work order issued for this purpose as Annexure-VII for your ready reference .

Agreed. There is no major hazardous waste generation from the project except Waste

Oil from DG sets. The waste oil from DG sets will be properly stored in a HDPE container and periodically transferred to

CPCB/HSPCB authorized reprocessor/ recycler. The Hazordous waste disposal details are enclosed herewith as Annexure-

VI for your ready reference.

The total nos of DG set 25 KVA x 3 Nos.,

62.5 KVA x 3 Nos are used as power back up source only. All the DG sets are acoustically treated and comply with E (P)

A Rule for air and noise emission standards.

The stack height will be as per CPCB norms. DG sets stack monitoring reports are enclosed herewith as Annexure-I for your ready reference.

Adequate energy conservation measures has been adopted for the project. vii. Application of solar energy should be incorporated for illumination of common areas, lighting for gardens and street lighting in addition to provision for solar water heating. viii. Traffic congestion near the entry and exit points from the roads adjoining the proposed project site must be avoided, parking should be fully internalized and no public space should be utilized.

Due care has been ensured for smooth operation of the traffic. The whole development work in the area is as per the approved Plan of Haryana Urban

Development Authority (HUDA).

Sufficient parking spaces have been provided for the occupants as well as visitors of the project.

Chandigarh who would be monitoring the implementation of environmental safeguards should be given full cooperation, facilities and documents/data by the project proponents during their inspection. In case of any change (S) in the scope of the project, the project would require a fresh appraisal by this Ministry.

The Ministry reserves the right to add additional safeguard measures subsequently, if found necessary, and to take action including revoking of the environment clearance under the provisions of the Environmental (Protection)

Act, 1986, to ensure effective implementation of the suggested safeguard measures in a time bound and satisfactory manner.

All other statutory clearances such as approvals for storage of diesel from Chief Controller of

Explosives, Fire Department, Civil Aviation

Department, Forest Conservation Act, 1980,

Wildlife Act 1972 etc. shall be obtained, as applicable by project proponents from the component authorities.
