As school begins, so do the sharing of different illnesses. Remember: if your child throws up, they must be picked up from school and then remain home until they have not thrown up for 24 hours. The same goes for fevers. If your child has a fever they must be fever free for 24 hours prior to returning to school. If your child is sick in the morning, keep them home. Please do not give them medication to mask a fever and send them to school just for the medication to wear off later. Please keep your contact numbers up to date so we can easily reach you or your emergency contact in case your child gets sick or hurt. Also, remember that NO medication is allowed to be transported on the bus with your student. ALL medication must be delivered to the school by a parent or guardian or designated representative so the appropriate paperwork can be completed. Let’s make this school year a healthy one. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 861-5204 or the main number 861-5200.
