This group created and implements the The Deer Management Plan for Royal National Park and NPWS Reserves in the Sydney South Region (2002). 2. Northern Illawarra Wild Deer Management Program, involving representatives from Sutherland Shire Council, Wollongong City Council , Shell Harbour City Council, Rail Corp, Roads and Maritime Services, Local Aboriginal Land councils, NSW Police, Catchment Management Authorities, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Nature Conservation Council, RSPCA, NSW Animal Welfare League, Crown Lands, Livestock Health and Pest Authority, University of Sydney, The Australian Deer Association, NSW Department of Primary Industries, National Parks Association, private property owners and the NSW Game Council. This group created and implements the The Deer Management Plan for Royal National Park and NPWS Reserves in the Sydney South Region (2002). This program was developed in 2009 after a approach from Wollongong City Council for assistance from SSC to create an integrated nil tenure regional management program for feral animal control. 3. Sydney Cane Toad Action Group involving representatives from Sutherland Shire Council, Office of Environment and Heritage, RSPCA, NSW Animal Welfare League, Livestock Health and Pest Authority, Universities of Sydney and Newcastle, NSW's Department of Primary Industries and the National Parks Association. 4. Fox Threat Abatement Plan (TAP) for Kurnell involving representatives from Sutherland Shire Council, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Office of Environment and Heritage, RSPCA, NSW Animal Welfare League, NSW Trade and Investment (Crown Lands) Department , Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority, Livestock Health and Pest Authority, Universities of Sydney and Newcastle, Frog and Tadpole Study Group and private property owners. 5. Memorandum of Understanding between with National Parks and Wildlife Service and NSW Trade and Investment (Crown Lands) Department to control pest animals in the Sutherland Shire Council local government area. 6. SSC production of "Eradicating cane toads in south-east New South Wales, outside their current range of distribution: Best practice guidelines". This document was produced with the input of the Office of Environment and Heritage, Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority, NSW Environmental Trust, Universities of Sydney and Newcastle, RSPCA and the NSW Department of Primary Industries. 7. NSW Invasive Species Plan 2008-15 and Sydney South Region Pest Management Strategy 2012-17 has numerous mentions of programs that SSC facilitates as being examples of effective and efficient integrated, best practice pest species management.
