Collect – Christmas Day
Lord Jesus Christ,
your birth at Bethlehem
draws us to kneel in wonder at
heaven touching earth:
accept our heartfelt praise
as we worship you,
our Saviour and our eternal God.
Amen

Almighty God, in the birth of your
Son you have poured on us the
new light of your incarnate Word,
and shown us the fullness of your
love: help us to walk in his light and
dwell in his love that we may know
the fullness of his joy;
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen

Pray for Georgie Haywoods mother unexpectedly taken into hospital and
her father who is disabled.
Pray for Mo Blatch as her father died on 23rd December.
CHURCH HALL SALE
We have received eight offers for the church hall so far
and the bid process is now closed. These offers will be
discussed at the next PCC meeting on 10th January.
Please pray for the PCC as they discuss this and begin
to make some decisions about the future of the hall.
Please pray that the relations with the local community
will remain good throughout this process.
PRAYER FOCUS: Christmas & New Year
Please pray for all those who find Christmas a difficult
time of year because they are on their own or without
loved ones over this period.
Thank God for our families and for precious time together
at this time of year.
