Disneyland Paris Disney Land Paris is important because there aren’t very many Disney parks. Notre Dame De Paris Notre Dame De Paris is an important place because it is one of the first Gothic Cathedrals. 2. Rome, Italy: 41.86° N, 12.5° E Colosseum The Colosseum is important to Rome because it was used for 4 centuries for games and other entertaining activities. Roman Forum The inclusion of the Senate House made the Roman Forum the most important of all the Forums. Piazza Navona Piazza Navona is one of the most famous and arguably the most beautiful of Rome's many squares. 3. Vienna, Austria: 48.2°N, 16.37°E St. Stephen’s Cathedral The Cathedral is one of the first gothic churches in the world. Prater The Vienna Prater is home to the largest Ferris wheel in Vienna along with many other exciting rides and games. Museum of Military History The Museum of Military History examines the history of the Habsburg Monarchy from the end of the 16th century to the end of the monarchy in 1918, as well as the subsequent years up until 1945. The museum mainly focuses on the role of the army and military history on the high seas. 4. Berlin, Germany: 52.52°N, 13.38°E Berlin Wall The official purpose of this Berlin Wall was to keep Western “fascists” from entering East Germany and undermining the socialist state, but it primarily served the objective of stemming mass defections from East to West. Berlin Zoo The Berlin Zoo has rapidly developed one of the world’s largest animal collections, maintaining more than 5,350 specimens of about 885 species. Reichstag Dome The new Reichstag building was officially opened on 19 April 1999. Eight hundred tons of steel and 3,000 square meters of glass went into building this structure, which is 23.5 meters high, while 360 mirrors provide daylight to the newly designed plenary chamber. 5. London, England: 51.5072° N, 0.1275° W London Eye It is an enormous Ferris wheel that sits on the south bank of the River Thames. It is on the west end of Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank and it stands roughly 135 metres in height. Big ben The Elizabeth Tower, which stands at the north end of the Houses of Parliament, was completed in 1859 and the Great Clock started on 31 May, with the Great Bell's strikes heard for the first time on 11 July and the quarter bells first chimed on 7 September.
