They are in need of the following: Saturday 8 November at 3pm Southwick Methodist Church Keynote Speaker: Geoff Warne, General Director of The Leprosy Mission International This is one of three special services across the region to celebrate 140 years since The Leprosy Mission was founded by Wellesley Bailey in 1874. They hope that as many supporters as possible will make a special effort to join them in celebrating the legacy and achievements of the Mission as well as the work that is ongoing today. Fiona has written a book on coping with cancer, also, five anthologies of prose and poems and has been a presenter at Premier Radio, the Christian radio station. Come and hear how her faith enabled her to cope with Roy's death and cancer. She is also President of Activate, an organisation which encourages Christian women to take God’s love into the community, through a wide variety of low-key, friendly events and seminars, encouraging Christian women in evangelism. She was given an OBE for her work with Global Care and other charities, in 2004. Letters of Radical Faith Friday 10 October at 7.30pm Three stories, three people, three nations; united by one message for the Arab world. S t . M a r y ' s C h u r c h C h u r c h R o a d P e Discover between the lines of their letters; an artist, a dentist and a midwife who battle trial and challenge, in order to bring hope to the next generation. Saltmine and Arab World Ministry of Pioneers present a powerful and poignant journey into the lives of these three people compelled by a God-given passion for the unreached. The three characters will be based on missionaries past and present who have been called by God to serve in the Arab world. This date is the Worthing performance of the UKwide tour and will be held at Maybridge Community Church, 77 The Strand, Worthing, BN12 6DR, with tickets available at just £8 for adults and £5 for concessions.
