Promotes linkages between U.S. scholars and professionals and their
counterparts at host institutions overseas. The program awards grants
to qualified U.S. faculty and professionals, in select disciplines, to
engage in short-term collaborative projects at eligible institutions in over
140 countries worldwide. Shorter grant lengths give Specialists greater
flexibility to pursue projects that work best with their current academic
or professional commitments. You are on a roster to be called upon for
up to 5 years. PhD + 5 years experience is required.

Fulbright
CCAS was launched in 2010 and brings senior American community
Community
college administrators to Russia for meetings and events with their
College
Russian counterparts. The Fulbrighters learn about the Russian higher
Administrators education system, including reforms that created a new system of
Seminar special status, federal, and national research universities. They also
Russia
examine changes in professional education as well as efforts to solve
labor issues through collaboration between schools, colleges,
professional training centers, universities, and employers. Because
Fulbright community college fellows understand both professional and
higher education in the United States, they have a wealth of information
and experience to share with their Russian counterparts. And due to the
significant reforms taking place in Russia and the scale at which these
reforms are being implemented, the Russian hosts also have much to
share with their American colleagues. http://www.cies.org/

receive Fulbright Scholar grants for advanced research and university
lecturing in the United States. Individual grants are available to scholars
from over 155 countries. Individuals who meet the eligibility

The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) Program assists U.S. higher
education institutions in expanding programs of academic exchange.
By supporting non-U.S. scholars through grants for teaching at
institutions that might not have a strong international component, both
the U.S. institution and the scholar grantee benefit. The hosting
institution should provide housing, meals, and ground transportation or
a stipend to cover those expenses. http://www.cies.org/sir/
Scholars in the SIR Program can come to your campus to guest lecture
on their research, discipline, or country/culture. Individuals are only
allows to accept one invitation per year. An OLF trip that involves visits
to more than one institution is recommended to broaden scholar’s
educational and professional experience. Travel is paid for by IIE, but
the host institution is expected to pay for accommodations, meals, and
ground transportation. http://www.cies.org/olf/

We recognize the passion Fulbright scholars bring to their work and the
tremendous difference they've made in American academia. As a
result, we are expanding our outreach efforts to the higher education
community across the United States by engaging Fulbright Scholar
alumni in our outreach. Fulbright Ambassadors serve as official
representatives of the Fulbright Scholar program at the events for which
they are selected. IIE will pay for them to come to your campus to
present about the program. http://www.cies.org/ambassadors/
