Ancient Civilizations Review Assignment Your group will be creating a Google Map using information your research for your selected civilization **You much have a gmail account to complete this assignment- if you do not have one- it’s FREE!! Go to www.google.com – click on Gmail and click on create new account icon. For your selected group you will research information about your civilization. o Make sure the information you find is related to one of the 5 Themes of World HistoryRemember if it does not go into one of the categories you do not need it. o Make sure to ONLY use the approved websites as well as the World History books provided for your research o Make sure to take notes of your research on paper (this will be collected and will be part of the graded assignment) Once you have gathered all your research o Log onto google maps- https://www.google.com/maps - sign in with your gmail credentials. o On the drop down menu- click on my maps and the create icon o You will be adding markets and drawing lines using the icons on the map Your map must include the following: o Title your map- Your civilization’s name, Your names, period o The map must have five markers – one per World History Theme Each marker must have at least 2 paragraph of research (in your own words!!!)
