The first phase of this tour focuses on exhibits that interpret various aspects of the community including emergency services, hospitals and health, schools, ethnic communities, and local businesses. The second phase focuses on coal mining and other local industries, and includes a walk through our famed replica coal mine! (The length can be changed to accommodate your group). Jumbo’s cabin may be all that is left standing from Cumberland’s once-bustling Chinatown, but the Old Townsites Walking Tour brings the old Chinese and Japanese settlements to life while walking through the majestic forests on the edge of town.
