ABOUT THE RESOURCE GUIDE:
This guide is not an endorsement or advertisement for any program, company, or individual
that is listed in the guide. McKinney ISD is not responsible for any cost involved in these
programs.
This guide is meant to give parents and teachers a reference for recreation and leisure activities
in the McKinney community and nearby areas. Please remember not all programs and camps
listed have specific programs for students with disabilities, but they may be willing to
accommodate special needs. It is the parent’s responsibility to pursue recreation and leisure
opportunities, as they deem cost-effective, safe, and appropriate for their child.
As our community grows, so will the need for recreation and leisure programs for our students
with unique abilities. Individuals, companies, and programs that are willing to accommodate
and provide services in recreation and leisure interests need to be recognized for the benefit of
our unique learners and their families.

tennis, and gym play.
