First brain storming about Maruyama Zoo programs (10*40~12:05 on 17th April, 2013)

member.
Chin
1) No plastic campaign activity
Obj.: Plastic bag reduction
Target: Family (children)
Activity: Presentation (lecture or slide show) demonstrating how harmful plastic
bags are.
Reward or gift: badge & eco bag.
2)Drawing competition
Obj.: consideration about nature and us.
Target: Children
Activity: Children draw pictures with their message.
Award or gift: Open to public on the web.(may be on HP of Maruyama Zoo)
Aiko
1) Link the animals
Obj.: Find effect of products or human activities on wild animals
Target: Children
Activity: Matching animal cards to the other cards by participants. Trainers give
assistant to have right answer
Award or gift: TBA
2) Stamp rally
Obj.: collecting information about animals
Target: Children (Family)
Activity: Stamp print collection on a question sheet in the zoo. participants collect
stamps and right answers. Bringing back the sheet and scoring at the booth. We give
right answer and information about animals at the booth.

3) Animal Origami
Obj.: knowing about animals
Target: Children over 9
Activity: Let children try to make paper animals "Origami" Parents could help their
children

Isma
1) Eco-friend snakes and ladders game
Obj.: Awareness building to the kids for keeping clean, especially public place like zoo.
Target: Children over 9
Activity: Trash free campaign

2）Group Estafet
Obj.: knowing origin of animals and their threat
Target: over 9 year kids's group
Activity: cards of animals, origin of country (flags or country name, pictures, etc.), and
thread are tried to match by kids

1)Puzzle game or word-linking game
Obj.: knowing many linkage among animals, including human
Target: TBA
Activity: tell the animal have a connection networks, linking in food chain, material
cycle or ecosystems on earth in general
Awards or gifts: TBA
Shu
1) "Can you guess? "game
Targets: Kids' group
Activity: Cards of Animal and participant asking question to try to find answer.
animal card have points. Higher scored group wins.It could be word-association or
linking game Such as food chain and ecological links.
2) Riddle solving game
Obj.: knowing about animals or environment better
Target: TBA
Activity: hints given one by one until the person have right answer . Right answer with
less hints gets higher score.
