Southcoast opens obstetrics and gynecology practice in New Bedford
Emily Cisek, DO, and G. Uma Harinarayanan, DO, are currently accepting new patients
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Southcoast® Physicians Group has opened an obstetrics and
gynecology practice in New Bedford. OB/GYNs Emily Cisek, DO, FACOOG, and G. Uma
Harinarayanan, DO, FACOG, will see patients at 543 North Street in New Bedford.
Dr. Cisek and Dr. Harinarayanan are accepting new patients. To schedule an

Emily Cisek, DO, FACOOG
Dr. Cisek earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
in Philadelphia. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospitals
in Bethlehem and Allentown, Pa.
Dr. Cisek is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a member of several
professional societies including the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and
Gynecologists as well as the Massachusetts Medical Society. She is a National Health Service
Corps Scholar.
Dr. Cisek’s clinical interests include advanced laparoscopy and urogynecologic
procedures. She currently resides in Rehobeth.
G. Uma Harinarayanan, DO, FACOG
Dr. Harinarayanan earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the
University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Dr. Harinarayanan is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a member of the
American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests include high risk
obstetrics, laparoscopic surgery, lactation and contraception.
Dr. Harinarayanan is fluent in medical Spanish. She currently resides in Barrington.
