We’ll send a postcard to known blood donors in the area to invite them to participate with your
blood drive.
Your parents can help you! Invite your family, your neighbors, your friends…
The number of blood donors who participate at your blood drive determines how much Scholarship $$
you earn.
You can schedule your blood drive any time between now and September.
Blood Drives can be scheduled any day of the week, but Saturdays and Sunday’s are very difficult to
get. If you choose a weekday, you may pick any 4.5 or 6 hour time period to host your blood
drive. Common hours for Monday – Friday blood drives are 2:00 – 8:00 or 3:00 – 9:00.

If your school doesn’t have a spring blood drive already scheduled and you can talk them
into a spring drive – YES!!
You also can also consider hosting your blood drive at your school if they have
SUMMER SCHOOL and will allow you to.
Yes – this is common – but you split the scholarship $$ you earn.
Do I have to be at the blood drive? Yes!
When do you send the Scholarship Money?



After your blood drive – it takes at least 3-4 weeks to process the checks
The checks are made out to the college or university only.
If you’ve not decided on the college or university, we wait to process your check until
you’ve decided.
