CHAMPAGNE PICTURE Welcome to our Staunton Herald July update of what's going on at the club Thank you to the Social Team for our putting on such a fabulous 40th anniversary celebration. Fancy dress, great bands, a generous helping of sunshine, BBQ, bouncy castle and assault course topped off a great weekend of serious and fun racing events, all of which made the 27/28th June a weekend to remember! Olympic sailor Start Childreley was kind enough to ‘break the ground’ for our new boathouse and this building is now well underway. We are also lengthening the training slipway for access to the water at low water and upgrading our training room. These projects have been funded by an Inspired Facilities grant from Sport England which focuses on improving sporting facilities at grass roots level. Members should be able to enjoy the benefits of these enhanced facilities in September.
