Learning outcomes Choice and effects of the sail typology as a function of the sailed course and of the wind intensity. Details of equilibrium and dynamic of a sailing vessel (upwind and downwind). Details of sails, keel and rudder design. Assesment Lectures Practice Laboratory Hours 48 Organization and examinations The educational activities are organized into 48 hours of theoretical classes. Practical training activities concerning CFD simulations for sails and hulls may be performed.
