Attention anyone interested in being in KIDC!
(Killough Innovation Design Council) Are you a leader? Are you looking for a group to be a part of decision making
at Killough?
We are hoping to have a great group of leaders at our informational meeting
in room 114 on Thursday, Oct. 15th during A block. Many of you have been
asking about the KIDC and here’s your chance.
What is KIDC? KIDC is a leadership organization that meets each week on
Thursdays to discuss things going on at LHSK. You will meet with Ms.
Toliver, Ms. Blanton, and Ms. Flores to have input on decisions at Killough,
work with visitors when they come, and gather student input on upcoming
events. We plan to poll students, spread school spirit, and build on the great
things at Killough to make it even better!
What type of student are we looking for? An organized student that can
dedicate their Thursdays to working on ways to better LHSK. Students that
are good role models for all students. Students that have school spirit.
What is required to be in KIDC? We will have an application process, gather
teacher recommendations, and there will be an interview to find our new
KIDC members. If you are interested, please be in room 114 on Thursday,
Oct. 15th during A lunch. See you there!
iPad fee and forms due - consequences coming.
Annual iPad fees are now past due. If you have not paid your fee for the 2015-16
school year, please do so immediately on Skyward on in the office. Students who
have not paid will be given discipline consequences and have their iPad taken
up. Thanks!
When will new IDs be here? We are hoping this week!!
Table Sports Room – Make sure you are cleaning up before you leave.
