Scope of Work: Interior Painting Concordia Elementary
Scope of Work
To paint interior walls and ceilings as designated at Concordia Elementary School. The bid should
include all paint and painting supplies. The bid should also include all prep and clean-up work, including
removal and reattachment of the cork strips, photos, trophy cases, plaques, exit signs/lights, shelving,
bulletin boards and light plate. Conduit/Panduit mounted on the walls should be painted the same wall
color.
All work needs to be bid at the prevailing wage, include record keeping for prevailing wage & provide the
district with the documentation of prevailing wage.
Pre-Catalyzed Waterborne Epoxy paint for the walls, color to exactly match current wall color in the
northwest addition (recipe provided).
All doors, both sides for metal doors & door frames will be painted. Also fire extinguisher cabinet
exteriors, should be painted to match the door frame color (recipe provided)
1. East Hallway & rooms 1-10, lower restrooms and entry hallway: paint single color (recipe provided).
2. West Hallway & rooms 11-14, 19-21 Upper restrooms, all areas in the office complex:
paint single color down to the hallway to the Northwest addition (5th & 6th grade section) , paint
around/over the Oriole & anchor design
3. LMC Hallway: Patch and paint walls single color (recipe provided) except for triangular area
hallways meet here current colors matched, Attach hand railing to the east side of hallway at the ramp.
Remove and securely reattach hand railing on the west side of the hallway
4. Back New Addition Hallway: paint single color (recipe provided), classrooms (rooms 22-27) &
bathrooms) paint a single color (recipe provided). Patch walls as necessary
5. LMC Hallway Locker rooms (room 28 & 29) and restrooms, paint and patch walls match the existing
color (recipe provided).
6. Interior LMC Walls patch and paint interior walls to match current colors
Please provide a stand-alone bid for each project and also a total bid for the entire project.
Painting can start on Tuesday, May 27th. Painting will have to work around summer school schedule. We
will arrange summer school classes to accommodate painting as much as possible. All work must be
completed by 8/1/2014
