7:05PM, against the Los Angles Angels. All veterans and their friends and family receive lower
baseline box seats for $25. Offer is on a first come/first serve basis. Groups of 15 or more

a Veterans Stand Down at their facility, located at 2770 Park, corner of Temple, in Detroit.

"Saturday, July 21, 2012" The Great Lakes National Cemetery Advisory Council is holding its
4th Annual Golf Outing at the Lapeer Country Club, 3786 Hunt Rd, Lapeer. Registration starts at
7AM with a shot gun start at 8. There will be a complimentary continental breakfast of coffee &
donuts. Cost is $70 per person, $280 per team. Numerous prizes will be awarded. For complete

"Saturday, July 21, 2012" Operation Injured Soldiers will be hosting their 6th annual Injured
Soldier Lyon Ride & Anita Cochran Concert in the Park. Where: 58000 Grand River, New
Hudson, MI 48165. Description: Picnic in the park and Lyon ride. 11:00-noon registration for
ride. Ride leaves at noon. Picnic in the park noon until dark. Motorcycle Rodeo starts at 2:30.

"Saturday, July 21, 2012" Mt. Clemens VVA Chapter 154 is hosting its annual bike ride to the
Detroit VA Hospital to deliver items to the vets living there. A donation of $10 is requested or a
bag of toiletries to give to a patient. Line up starts at Wolverine Harley at 10AM. This event is
open to all bikes.
"Sunday, July 22, 2012" MOMS (Moms of Michigan Military Supporters) is hosting its 4th
annual Classic Car Show to support our troops at Joey's Barbershop, 58804 Gratiot, in New

"Saturday, July 28, 2012" The Whiskey-Alpha Chapter of Leathernecks MC will host its 6th
annual "Fire & Forget" party from 3 to Midnight at 3815 Kanpp Ave, in Port Huron. Everyone is
welcome with lots of great food, live band, DJ, horse shoes, bonfire, etc. A donation of $10 for
adults, $5 for kids 12 and under is requested, with proceeds going to support the VA Domiciliary

Gala at the museum starting at 6:30PM. This year the theme is celebrating the B-17 Flying
Fortress and its contribution to history. This year the museum will honor Norm Elickson who
was a B-17 crew chief during WW II. Cost is $150 per person, $275 per couple if tickets are
