 Develop, coordinate, facilitate, and participate in efforts of human trafficking education, training,
consultation, technical assistance, research, and advocacy with multidisciplinary professionals,
agencies, and organizations throughout the world.
 Develop, brand, and market anti-trafficking tools including, but not limited to, the Anti-Trafficking
Lotus Prevention for ProsperityTM Curriculum, Anti-Trafficking Lotus Victim to VitalityTM Model, and the
Anti-Trafficking Domestic Sex Trafficking Risk and Resilience AssessmentTM (DST-RRA).
 Facilitate community partnerships and collaborations with agencies that may work with those at-risk
of and/or subjugated to human trafficking.
 Write grants and/or facilitate philanthropic activities to raise funding for the CCHT.
 Act as Primary Investigator and Project Supervisor on Federal and State grants and contracts.
 Supervise staff, including interdisciplinary (e.g. social work, communications, etc.) undergraduate and
graduate practicum students, interns, and research assistants, in CCHT roles and duties.
 Coordinate/oversee National Human Trafficking Month activities (up to 12 activities within the month
of January including several keynotes across Kansas, film screenings and multidisciplinary
discussions, large faith-based conference with over 500 registrants, and large WSU Metro-plex
conference at capacity with nearly 200 registrants).

 Teach undergraduate and graduate cross-listed and social work courses (i.e. human trafficking,
human sexuality, generalist practice, micro and macro practice of human behavior in the social
environment, introduction to social work practice, social work practicum, etc.).

Therapist/Coordinator of Anti-Sexual Exploitation Services/Street Outreach
 Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth who are at-risk of or who are subjugated to
domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST) and/or other forms of sexually exploitation and/or who are
clients of the Cross Roads Basic Center Grant Program. Emphasis in utilizing resilience/trauma
informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Prolonged Exposure Therapy Treatment with
homeless, runaway, and throwaway youth who are at-risk of or survivors of sexual exploitation.
 Collaborate and coordinate therapeutic services with Exploited and Missing Children’s Unit (EMCU)
for youth who have been trafficked/sexually exploited.
 Facilitate collaboration (including multidisciplinary team client staffings) and advocacy activities in
efforts to prevent, intervene, and decrease the demand for domestic minor sex trafficking.
 Provide advising and leadership in organizational capacity building, trauma/strength informed
cultural change, intra-agency program fluidity/collaboration, and theoretically-sound and evidencebased practice strategies.
 Provide community trainings and presentations on behalf of organization. Provide expertise and
input regarding program performance and development.
 Plan and coordinate the Adolescent Safety and Prevention Project (ASAP) which is a Federally
funded collaborative demonstration grant intended to reduce the risk of relationship violence and
sexual exploitation among homeless, runaway, and throwaway youth (HRTY).
 Design risk assessment tool and conduct research to validate tool with the intent to utilize in youth
shelter intake processes.
 Design, coordinate, and implement girls sub-programming as well as Healthy Relationships
curriculum into the Wichita Children’s Home and Street Outreach Services.
 Plan and coordinate annual Women of Worth (W.O.W.) retreat for at-risk teen females.
 Expertise in working with HRTY; vulnerable/marginalized teens who have been subjugated to
multiple forms of sexual exploitation, relationship violence and sexual and emotional grooming.
 Assist in writing/preparing federal grant applications, semi-annual and annual progress reports, etc.
 Facilitate and co-facilitate 3 weekly prevention and intervention programs/psycho-educational
groups with 10-30 high-risk community youth.
 Supervise and train street outreach staff.
 Make daily contact and build relationships with HRTY on the streets of Wichita and surrounding
communities as well as youth who are placed in the shelter.
 Provide follow-up and case management services.
 Handle on-call phone crisis counseling.
 Compile monthly statistical information.
 Administer surveys to street youth concerning running away and HIV/STD issues.

Develop and provide oversight and assistance to smaller task groups within the Wichita Sexual
Exploitation Roundtable to address specific topics which may include (dependent upon community
partners), but not limited to legislative advocacy, protocol development, service provision models,
community education strategies, etc.
Engage in ongoing recruitment of Roundtable members to ensure membership includes
representatives from service organizations and systems whose buy-in is essential for project success.
This includes cultivating community support necessary to gain consensus on the approach to
addressing this problem in Wichita and surrounding areas.
Plan and facilitate (along with CCSR partners and Roundtable members) community education
events that will raise awareness and reduce the incidence of sexual exploitation of children within the
Wichita area. Conduct a pre and post test to evaluate the effectiveness of event.
Conduct literature research on the national and local problem of sexual exploitation, methods of best
practice, therapeutic models, curriculum, etc.
Conduct live research/environmental scans regarding the magnitude of issue as well as best practice
interventions.
Compile past research in a format which creates a community plan that can be utilized as a road map
for addressing the issue of CSE/meeting needs of sexually exploited youth. If this road map does
include a plan to implement shelter, research may include interventions that could be utilized as part
of the shelter project’s scope of services.
Document the history of Sexual Exploitation work within the Wichita Community and the partners
involved.
Serve on Leadership Initiatives and Youth Initiatives Teams.
Facilitate leadership development trainings as well as any other leadership building consultation as
requested (i.e. capacity building, staff emotional intelligence development, etc.).
Assist in the creation, facilitation, and evaluation of youth empowerment/leadership programs.

and runaway youth (Grant Number NIMH57110).
 Follow protocols to track, survey, and provide service to homeless and runaway respondents.
 Utilize qualitative and quantitative interviewing techniques.
 Recruit and maintain contact with 60 homeless and runaway youth in the Wichita area over a 3 year
period.
 Conduct computer assisted personal interviews using CASES software. This includes diagnostic
interviews using modules from the DISC-R (Diagnostic Interview Schedule for Children-Revised)
and the UMCIDI (University of Michigan Composite International Diagnostic Interview).

FUNDRAISING
 Have facilitated the cultivation and securing of nearly $1,000,000.00 in private donor gifts.
Specifically, through effective major gift solicitations, creative sponsorship opportunities, and
effective donor cultivation events, have fostered partnerships that resulted in contributions ranging
